If you get yanfly's partysystem plugin, you can edit the max people in battle very easily, plus with their battlesystemcore you can choose to include a button to swap out the party midbattle. You probably want to go with rpg maker mv, i dont know what plugins exist for mz. (i can suggest some alternative ways that may work if you want.)Ĭatching, also easy, i'm not the best as explaining things though so if you end up needing help with that i can probably send some screenshots or somethin. getting them out of storage wouldn't be too hard either, just very time consuming for you to make. Actor storage should be easy, set a parallel process common event to check which actors are past the amount you want the max to be is, then using hidden item types, condition branches, and some other stuff, in order to store them as an unseen item.
